Hey, Mr. DJ !

I m a fun loving guy who likes to live in today. Live as if u were to die tomorrow.Never worry abt YESTERDAY, never care for TOMORROW, but live your life as much as u can TODAY. No expectations... Only surprises !!!

I started DJing before two and a half years and i have been constantly improving my skills through this period. I have recorded many mixes. I generally mix on the Personal Computer by advanced softwares. DJing is my hobby and I have a strong passion for mixing. I also have a fondness for singing.

My DJing skills...

As far as DJing is concerned, I have never done any professional course in DJing. Everything i have done is based on my creativity and insight. Still I can promise party animals for hours of groovy music till they fall off dancing ! I have taken up DJing as an hobby and not as a profession. I m interested in recording my own mixes, rather than performing professional shows. Still, parties are amazing turn-ons for my DJing passion.

The Current Situation...

With the advent of sophisticated hardware and softwares for mixing and voice extraction, DJing has become more advanced than before and many youngsters are aspiring to become Deejays. DJs are not only now limited to mixing offline but now thay create live mixes and set the dance floor ablaze. More importance is also given to lighting effects. Thus, there is a tough competition prevailing among DJs and it is always seen to who mixes the track first as to how good he mixes it.

Some Final hints:

  • Practice: Have a small mixing device at home. (not a krupps kind of mixing device :)
  • Learn from other DJ's: Listen to them and what they do, as well for the global picture, the songs they are playing as the small shifts they make. Listen also at the faults they make and how they could have avoid it. Beware: the better you become, the more frustrating it is to go to parties :)
  • The day(s) before you play,  listen to old, boring music. Music to which you have no affection. Good results guaranteed !
  • Take enough sound-cables, power-cables and so on with you. Don't expect something will be available. Also take a mirror with you. Some mixing tables are that fixed and unreachable that you will need a way to see.
  • Don't forget a lamp.
  • Tape your sessions and listen to them afterwards.
